Short Summary

Basura and the Shuaruri forces continue to outmaneuver and brutally wear away at Vibli and Yarmaha's troops. Yulian's timely arrival forces Sabira to call a retreat, and both forces regroup for a high stakes final skirmish, specifically the culminating rivalry between the newly empowered Basura and the new War God Yulian.

Long Summary

Basura's 2nd phase Chakra Cyclone obliterates a line through Pareia's forces and the Yarmaha barely manages to dodge it. Yarmaha and a squad of veteran warriors attempt to surround Basura, but he is too powerful to contain and begins to cut them down without trouble - forcing Yarmaha and Vibli to once again fight together in order to protect their best troops. With Pareia's commanders locked in extremely dangerous combat, Sabira once again leads the Shuaruri troops in an attack, taking advantage of Pariea's inability to coordinate a defense.

Despite their smaller forces, Basura's immense singular force and Sabira's tactcics again begin to shatter the Pariea army. They hold out long enough however, and Vibli rallies when Yulian appears with reinforcements on the horizon. As the Glow charges forward to support his Great Warriors, Sabira calls for Shuaruri's retreat and Basura easily cuts a way out of the fight for their troops. As Yulian appears, they eye each other - both assessing their opponents, and Basura vows to take Yulian's head.

Back at the Shuaruri camp, Basura demands he be allowed to fight Yulian directly. Sabira tries to advise him, and encourages him to see the importance of his position as Family Head, as well as a warrior with the potential to match Venersis. Basura respects the orders of Sabira, but demands to fight, and tells the Great Warrior that if he were to see Yulian again he may not be able to obey an order to retreat. Sabira realizes that he must follow Basura's bloodthirsty desires, and decides to plan around Basura as much as possible, while doing everything to keep the newly empowered warrior alive. Sabira realizes that together, Venersis and Basura could be unstoppable, and only hopes that he can get Basura to retreat in time to realize that potential.

The warriors of Pareia share a similar meeting, with Vibli and Yarmaha protesting Yulian's insistence on dueling Basura. They too are stunned by his new power, and nervous for the life of their new Glow. Yulian is calm however, and warns that if they do not deal with Basura now, he and Venersis will be a great threat to Pareia. Despite the hesitation they realize this is the best option, though Yarmaha insists he will follow Yulian to the duel, and with Vibli going after Sabira they agree to the plan.
