Short Summary

Yulian and Ranoia have an intense discussion on Dirik, who turns out to be a Holy Animal, and Dirik is taken away from Yulian by Lakri as he serves an unfair advantage.

Long Summary

Ranoia and his Wyraptor approach Yulian and his group to discuss Dirik, a Sacred Animals/Shuturupikana who Ranoia has interest in. Triquel reveals to Yulian that there are in fact 12 Sacred Animals, and that Dirik is one of them. Triquel's knowledge of the Sacred Animals is surprising to Ranoia. Ranoia is also surprised at how Yulian came into possession of Dirik, remarking that Shuturupikana approaching a human first is a rare occurrence.

Ranoia then proposes that he give Yulian proper exchange for Dirik, to which Yulian promptly refuses. Ranoia wants to give Dirik's mana crystal to his Wyraptor. Yulian demands that Ranoia leave them, to which Ranoia states his offer should at least be heard. Tensions escalate between the two as Ranoia proclaims Yulian isn't yet at a point where he can defeat him. Yulian wants to test his statement, but Lakri appears and de-escalates the situation. After Ranoia excuses himself, Lakri informs Yulian that she must take Dirik as he gives Yulian an unfair advantage in the trials. This surprises Yulian as he is unfamiliar with what Dirik is truly capable of. Triquel let's him know of Dirik's abilities, which include healing and paralysis. He states a full grown Shuturpikana can paralyse a dragon.
