Kain is a young road finder of unknown origins first introduced in the employ of the Silence Empire.
Appearance[]
Kain appears to be quite young and dresses like a desert traveler. He has sharp bangs and a single braid.
Personality[]
Kain is smart for his young age, and well versed in the ways and dangers of the Red Desert, as well as the sociopolitical intricacies of the Silence Empire. He can be cunning and even mercenary, but greatly admires the strength and honor found in the Warriors of the Desert.
History[]
Kain was hired by Prince Shareulo as a guide for his and Janet's diplomatic trip to Pareia. Though Kain is a skilled roadfinder, Shareulo's unwillingness to heed his advice still leads the group into a dangerous sandstorm. In the storm Kain befriends Yulian and Haisha (who he greatly admires) and once they reach the Empire acts as a friend and occasional guide to the two desert warriors- inexperienced as they are in the practices of the capital city. He advises them in economic issues, as well as the social ramifications of their fight with Laddens.
After the coup against Shaone, Kain helps Yulian and Haisha sneak back to the Desert through a hidden trail bypassing the Henkel Fortress. Kain leaves them before the desert, with a promise of future compensation.
Some time later, Kain is hired by Yulian and the Pariea tribe to act as roadfinder and cartographer as Red Storm searches the dangerous Northern Desert for a new potential trade route going all the way from Eastern to Western continents.
Power and Abilities[]
Kain is well versed in the geography and climate of the desert, as well as the practices needed to survive in such a place. As a trained roadfinder, he also seems to have remarkable power of memory - able to observe, memorize, and mentally map marked sections of an area almost instantly.
